Charity Spotlight

Charity Spotlight

Awareness. Advocacy. Support.

As part of our commitment to “take care of our world”, and particularly giving back to our community, we needed to find a way to make a difference. While we had been involved with the Children’s Miracle Network and Realtor’s Community Foundation of Edmonton for years, we realized that there were too many incredible groups in our city to narrow our support to just one. Thus, the #charityspotlight was born – a program that rotates charities every 3 months and raises awareness about local charities and their programs/services.

Our goal is to connect more people in our city to causes and charities that they may not have known about. We want to encourage Edmontonians to get even more involved in making a difference around them.

We pick groups that we are passionate about and focus on these keys:
Local Groups
Homelessness
Hunger
Women
Children

Current Charity Spotlight:

Basically Babies

Basically Babies is a registered charity that works to provide for the basic outfitting needs of newborn babies born to families in extreme need in the greater Edmonton area.

We offer the gift of a complete first year’s wardrobe for these infants in the form of a beautiful color-coordinated basket filled with clothing, outerwear, blankets, toys, storybooks, sleepers, undershirts, footwear and other baby essentials. We call these packaged gifts “layettes”.
